Cypha awarded AMY for Best Social or Content Led Marketing Campaign

Cypha Wins Amy Award For IAG Social Campaign

Cypha awarded AMY for Best Social or Content Led Marketing Campaign - Financial Services for their work with IAG.

On Friday 7 July, the newly rebranded Digital + Technology Collective held their annual awards night at the Peninsula C in Melbourne. The AMY Awards celebrate “digital luminaries and their fantastic work” says Mandy Eyles, GM of Digital + Technology Collective. A total of 37 trophies and 18 highly commended awards were given out.

Matt Griffin, chair of judges for this year’s AMY awards said “it was the overall quality of the entries that was the stand-out feature of the show this year with some incredible work from both agencies and clients alike. In many cases, the winning work highlights that true digital brilliance is conceived and delivered through the closest of these client-agency relationships”.

Cypha walked away with an AMY for the category of Best Social or Content Led Marketing Campaign - Financial Services for their work with IAG. The campaign comprised of a soft launch of three beta products under IAG’s brands, SGIO and SGIC in WA and SA, across Facebook and YouTube. The success of the campaign confirmed to IAG that their beta products were popular enough to be launched nationwide.

Daniel Christos, Managing Director at Cypha, says of the win: "We're very pleased to be able to share this AMY award with the team at IAG. We achieved some amazing results by taking a slightly different approach for an insurance brand. By developing a combination of animation, lifestyle imagery and illustrations, we were able to effectively communicate the brand story for each new product across a number of social executions."
