On Friday 15 July, we attended the 22nd AMY Awards at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney. Out of the eager 123 finalists, AIMIA presented 27 AMY awards and 11 Highly Commended awards. The judges were very tough this year, even choosing not to award any winners in some categories. We were lucky enough to walk away with a Highly Commended award for our NRL 'Make Your Calls' Finals Campaign under the category, Best Use of Social Media or Content - Entertainment and Media.
AIMIA celebrates digital excellence and outstanding achievements throughout the past year. CEO Jodie Sangster spoke on the evening of the importance of the AMY's within Australia's digital landscape:
